Timeshare Industry Scams 

Resale and rental companies – Companies that charge upfront fees for your timeshare to sit on a website, and it does not rent, or sell.

Buyer in the wing scam – Receiving a phone call out of the blue saying that they have found a buyer from your timeshare that you never inquired about, and they want you to pay an upfront closing cost.

Non-attorney backed cancellation firm – A company that claims to offer legal assistance but does not have any BAR licensed attorneys.

Donation scam – Telling you you can donate your timeshare and write it off on your taxes.
